My golden retriever with no personality at all..! 0
I didn’t expect I could ever say that but my our (in case someone says that dog is like his master
) OUR dog has NO PERSONALITY at all. I was drinking my coffee this morning ( yes, I am back on caffeine addiction! ) and as usually I was looking at my dog. I guess there is nothing else to look at in the morning, when you sit down, alone, on the couch in the living room and the only moving thing beside a dancing steam coming from the cup filled with hot liquid is… your dog.
There’s nothing special about him. You could say he is interesting if he was doing some sort of dog’s antics, but he doesn’t. The only thing this dog is… is as boring as some old shoes, or even worse…
I wonder HOW this dog sneaked his way into our family ???
We’re bunch of such BIG individualists!
My son for example is Lego oriented lego-squarehead that you could test in the middle of the night on ANY Star Wars fact and he wouldn’t fail, but can’t remember to bring his homework from school – “I forgot, mommy”
My daughter, on the other hand has too many personalities… and my husband, well he should be a cook – but still fails to realize and admit his destiny!
Me – I am the COOL person here… haha! In my family I own all the toys, ITouch including… and some other…
And this dog… I just don’t get it…
He has a great barking ability…
Doesn’t eat a lot, looks healthy though…
Waves his tails when he sees us…
Eats my books and papers… (appetite mystery?)
He’s one year old and his head seems still empty like he was a puppy
Wants to go out every 5min!!!!!!!!!!!! Driving me nuts!
He’s white, I am loosing him on the snow.
Doesn’t howl when we sing. We love to sing.
Is stinky!
Leaves a trail of his hair everywhere he goes like he was a snail not a dog.
His paws are always in mud – even in a dry, sunny summer weather. He just has to find that last littlest forgotten by sun puddle from weeks ago.
I found his hair on my clean plate two days ago! Grossssss!!!!
Is VERY strong! Had me almost on the ground when he saw a squirrel.
Has a big passion for squirrels.
Loves all the kids. Especially those on the other side of the road…
Had to buy a special collar for him, in order to save my arm and keep it attached to the rest of my body.
Now, that what I found on Wikipedia.com bothers me:
“Their intelligence and versatility sees them employed in a variety of roles including illegal drug detection, search and rescue, as hunting dogs and as guide dogs. They possess a friendly, eager-to-please demeanor, and are the fourth most popular family dog breeds (by registration) in the world.”
If, you don’t know what kind of dog I am talking about, it is a golden retriever. I don’t know how “eager-to-please demeanor” fits anywhere close to my dog. Maybe he needs to grow up?? Get smarter??
Just look at this face yourself, what do YOU think?
And oh please, someone remind me why do I still keep him !???

Hi there. Thanks for stopping by! :)
