First few days of blogging 0

Oct30

My blog is getting some shape by now. :) I mean I have a few posts behind me… Logo – check! Some family pictures uploaded – check! Even categories! Who would’ve thought I will have so many categories? (more is coming though :) )

“Mom, what are you doing?” – Josh looked over my shoulder curiously. He pronounced loudly the title. I was working on my “About” page. I think he must’ve liked what he just red, because he decided to continue to the rest of the article.
“You say: I try TO DO my best” he noticed. continue reading »

Have a great day ladies! :D

The Yaya Sisters

If you love something, set it free.
If it comes back, it will always be yours.
If it doesn’t come back,
it was never yours to begin with.
But, if it just sits in your living room,
messess up your stuff, eats your food,
uses your telephone, takes your money,
and doesn’t appear to realize
that you set it free….. You either
married it or gave birth to it.

Making simple Puppets :o) 0

Kids enjoy time spend together with their parents. I don’t see any better fit to teach them some teamwork before they sit down together with me. I had tons of fun doing these puppets with them. I’ve noticed, my children love that craft-time and whoever said that a dinner is the best time to talk to your kids or a husband, probably have never been in my house! But I discover I have my kids attention, when we do crafts together. It’s messy, but on the fun side! And well, I GOT VERY CREATIVE! And Josh with Misha were looking at me like I was some sort of miracle maker, so that was nice!

THE LADIES!

When you have to visit a public toilet, you usually find a line of women, so you smile politely and take your place. Once it’s your turn, you check for feet under the cubicle doors. Every cubicle is occupied.

Finally, a door opens and you dash in, nearly knocking down the woman leaving the cubicle. You get in to find the door won’t latch. It doesn’t matter, the wait has been so long you are about to wet your pants! The dispenser for the modern ’seat covers’ (invented by someone’s Mum, no doubt) is handy, but empty. You would hang your bag on the door hook, if there was one, so you carefully, but quickly drape it around your neck, (Mum would turn over in her grave if you put it on the FLOOR!) continue reading »

ONE OF THE BEST STORIES I’VE EVER HEARD! 0

Oct22

Again, I don’t know who’s the author; received in the email.
“As she stood in front of her 5th grade class on the very first day of school, she told the children an untruth. Like most teachers, she looked at her students and said that she loved them all the same. However, that was impossible, because there in the front row, slumped in his seat, was a little boy named Teddy Stoddard.
Mrs. Thompson had watched Teddy the year before and noticed that he did not play well with the other children, that his clothes were messy and that he constantly needed a bath. In addition, Teddy could be unpleasant. It got to the point where Mrs. Thompson would actually take delight in marking his papers with a broad red pen, making bold X’s and then putting a big ‘F’ at the top of his papers. continue reading »

GAWKY – moving in a nervous and awkward way, as if it is difficult to control your arms and legs

Here’s the type of  “pass it on to others” email…

“This is one of the best explanations of why
God allows pain and suffering that I have seen…

A man went to a barbershop to have his
hair cut and his beard trimmed.
As the barber began to work, they began to
have a good conversation.
They talked about so many things and various subjects.
When they eventually touched on the subject
of God, the barber said:
‘I don’t believe that God exists.’ continue reading »

Book Club 0

Oct1

I thought I will start something like a Book Club and read at least one book per month. For this month I decided I am going to read “Marley” since it’s our dog name… Let’s see how much fun I am going to have! :)
