When I was reviewing Karito Kids doll Piper, that my daughter got for her birthday, the only thing missing was pics of Misha and her new friend. So, here they are.
I always thought about my daughter’s hair as being dark blond, but then she took Piper in her arms, and my first thought was: “Gosh! How dark Misha’s hair is!” Piper has stunning highlights. I wouldn’t mind to get them done for myself! I could imagine the surprised look at the hair salon: “Uhmmm…. Could you get me exactly the same hair color like this doll has?… ” “M’am it is a… doll!” “Well I know… but I love the color…!” I laughed about the idea, but it really came to my mind. Who knows, maybe one day I will sneak her out the house and get my hair done exactly the same…? If that happens, I am sure they will never ever forget the strange customer they had one day…!! Lol. For now, I hope you’ll enjoy the pics I took.
Party time…
And the guest of honor is…. of course, who else could it be?
Here’s the pic that many moms I am sure will appreciate. The famous cuddly body part of Karito Kids dolls.
I love the way fabric and plastic is connected. It’s very neat.
Piper’s body looks nice. I love that fabric goes just to half of the chest. This way all clothes look nice on her even those without sleeves and shoulders don’t look boxy.
I am sure your little princess will enjoy this doll. Mine does.
My friend Agnes always has great post updates. Here’s the one I could enjoy lately: “We all can’t be heroes. Somebody has to sit on the sides and clap as they go by.”
I felt kind of less pressure on myself after reading this one…
Early in 2009 I stumbled upon something called an affiliate marketing, in simple words – one of the many ways leading to making money online. Year later I am on the quest to make that happen. I know, seems like everyone is trying to do the same thing. As the economy falls more and more people is searching for ways to make some extra money. And the best scenario is if you can do it from the quietness of your home. Why?
My answer to that question is quite simple – I want time with my family. It is more precious for me than talking to strangers at work, hearing every day about what their dogs did, what they have for lunch today, or solving their problems. Don’t get me wrong. It’s not that I don’t care. I do. But how often when you eat lunch, can you hear the same story about Jackie’s dog’s lump that grew somewhere on his body and following after that costly doctor’s visits? You bet the person sitting next to you had the same experience or similar with her dog, so she shares that and for few weeks the lunch room is full of pet stories. Some funny, some completely gross. And there you are, sitting and eating your lunch, wishing that they stop talking about it.
That was my workplace. “Was” because I became a full time blogger, freelancer, writer.
And it still requires lot of work. I do several projects at the time, spending at least few hours everyday working. If I don’t, that’s ok, but it gets me a little bit away from my goal. I wake up every morning and I start working. Routine really pays off. After few weeks, I’ve noticed I started to feel comfortable, it became something I looked forward to it. The best thing though is that I can watch my daughter playing, or I can choose to have a break and play with her. That’s the powerful strength behind my motivation. Motivation is something you need desperately when you go for a few months without any income, wondering if it ever comes, or what if it never does (?!) I made peace with that risk though – I decided I will do it for one whole year, but I will do it good.
No matter what. I’ll wait and see. I mean… I’ll WORK and see. Now, that’s better.
Gosh, here I am… truly desperate housewife… ( realistically when I look at it – I am really desperate! hahaha ) Anyway, stay tuned to hear my story and have yourself a really really wonderful day!
I guess it would be something wrong with me if I wouldn’t adore my children. I do adore them big time! Here is Joshua singing “The Climb”. Please excuse me, but I think he’s just fantastic!
I didn’t expect I could ever say that but my our (in case someone says that dog is like his master ) OUR dog has NO PERSONALITY at all. I was drinking my coffee this morning ( yes, I am back on caffeine addiction! ) and as usually I was looking at my dog. I guess there is nothing else to look at in the morning, when you sit down, alone, on the couch in the living room and the only moving thing beside a dancing steam coming from the cup filled with hot liquid is… your dog.
There’s nothing special about him. You could say he is interesting if he was doing some sort of dog’s antics, but he doesn’t. The only thing this dog is… is as boring as some old shoes, or even worse…
I wonder HOW this dog sneaked his way into our family ???
We’re bunch of such BIG individualists!
My son for example is Lego oriented lego-squarehead that you could test in the middle of the night on ANY Star Wars fact and he wouldn’t fail, but can’t remember to bring his homework from school – “I forgot, mommy” My daughter, on the other hand has too many personalities… and my husband, well he should be a cook – but still fails to realize and admit his destiny! Me – I am the COOL person here… haha! In my family I own all the toys, ITouch including… and some other…
And this dog… I just don’t get it…
He has a great barking ability…
Doesn’t eat a lot, looks healthy though…
Waves his tails when he sees us…
Eats my books and papers… (appetite mystery?)
He’s one year old and his head seems still empty like he was a puppy
Wants to go out every 5min!!!!!!!!!!!! Driving me nuts!
He’s white, I am loosing him on the snow.
Doesn’t howl when we sing. We love to sing.
Is stinky!
Leaves a trail of his hair everywhere he goes like he was a snail not a dog.
His paws are always in mud – even in a dry, sunny summer weather. He just has to find that last littlest forgotten by sun puddle from weeks ago.
I found his hair on my clean plate two days ago! Grossssss!!!!
Is VERY strong! Had me almost on the ground when he saw a squirrel.
Has a big passion for squirrels.
Loves all the kids. Especially those on the other side of the road…
Had to buy a special collar for him, in order to save my arm and keep it attached to the rest of my body.
Now, that what I found on Wikipedia.com bothers me:
“Their intelligence and versatility sees them employed in a variety of roles including illegal drug detection, search and rescue, as hunting dogs and as guide dogs. They possess a friendly, eager-to-please demeanor, and are the fourth most popular family dog breeds (by registration) in the world.”
If, you don’t know what kind of dog I am talking about, it is a golden retriever. I don’t know how “eager-to-please demeanor” fits anywhere close to my dog. Maybe he needs to grow up?? Get smarter??
Just look at this face yourself, what do YOU think?
And oh please, someone remind me why do I still keep him !???
I was away for a while… Lost in the land of Animate PRO that I purchased over Christmas. They had a dream-come-true special – I was able to get it for the half price! And I remember the times when the software was almost $3999.00! Now I spend only around $1000! That was MY Christmas present! Oh Santaaaa!!!! My first impression? AWESOME! Second: hard, but… everything is hard before it becomes easy (I don’t want to speculate too much on who said it, but I heard it was Adolf Hitler…blah! Well, someone told me that, and I always remember). Anyway, right now I am on the quest of learning a new thing.
Animation was always my hobby. I used flash and I dreamed about something more flexible. I’ll keep you posted about my progress!
Meanwhile, if you don’t know what Animate Pro is and want to find out more about it, click below.

MAKE THEM EARN IT! ;)
Smarty Card is something I discovered not so long ago. It is a fun way to motivate kids to study. Everyone knows NickJr educational games, right? Smarty Card are games with a twist. These ARE REALLY educational as they go around subjects like English, Math, Science, Reading and so on. Everything that a child learns at school. The program starts from grade 2 and goes higher. The most fun thing is, it is FREE.
Or, if your child still is not encouraged by attractive, fun and colorful way the projects are presented, you can set a prize! That's right! Your child can pick Nintendo Wii or DS or toy or game and as he plays/learns he accumulates points for every right answer. The more fancy prize the more points it requires so your child will learn solid before receiving it. We tried it here with my kids and we loving it! I only wish they had something for kindergarten! Check it out, it's really worth it! :)
